Bathtub Jen and the Henchmen

Bathtub Jen and the Henchmen - 5.0 out of 5 based on 2 votes

Follow Jersey's finest speakeasy entrepreneur/bootlegging hoodlum Bathtub Jen and her curmudgeonly Russian green card ex-con husband Ivan as they embark on poorly judged money-making schemes, kvetch about erotic sessions gone awry, and stay one step ahead of bumbling Police Commissioner Kelly. They back up their escapades with a mix of instrumentation including accordion, ukulele, upright bass, clarinet, banjo, spoons, trombone, and trumpet. Co-conspirators make guest appearances.

"Bathtub Jen and the Henchmen is a riot of laughter; wild, zany, and delightfully hysterical."

"This trio-cum-love triangle do it all. Bathtub Jen and the Henchmen is a love letter to theatrical invention, music, and even the films of Quentin Tarantino. The ensemble of Harder, Heroy, and Layton are entertainers of the first order and are not to be missed."

"From the other side of the tracks, this is of course is a very odd threesome and they all play music, sing and do an intriguing variety act. Yes, it gets raunchy and beautifully ugly." -Mask Arts Company Blog

"Jersey dame what never paid for a drink in her life without chloral hydrate. Bathtub Jen, some Tex Guinan motormouth in a suede cowgirl number slit up high as you want. How'd she do that?" -a satisfied audience member
