I first became interested in makeup at age 19. As a girly-girl, I always had a thing for cosmetics but I never realized my passion would be on the more "artists" perspective of cosmetics. I ,in due time, became self-taught and that gave me the advantage of never having a closed-in view to subject my ideas. I love more editorial pieces, and glamour shots, or just really the more artistic side of things, but I am versatile.

I am a t certified Airbrush Makeup Stylist! As well as an award winning Make-up Artist in 2013. My main goal is to always be the best at what I do. My signature is noticed in all my work, from glamour styles to insane editorial looks.

What I do requires a lot of "paying your dues" but in the end, it was all worth it. I am doing what I love to do, which doesn't make it seem like an occupation, so my passion nor my ambition never fads. I feel like an artist who has never lost her inspiration to the world.

Make up, hair, henna and all you need for your weddings and occasions.

I love art in general, and making up faces has been a great way for me to utilize my creativity. Color theory is very important when it comes to makeup, as well as knowing how to play with the balance of light and shadow, highlights and contours etc. It's all applicable to the face & every client that I work on provides me with a new "canvas."

One of the greatest rewards as a makeup artist has been witnessing the impact that I have had on many of my clients, and the repeat customer loyalty that has developed with them as a result. To date, word of mouth referrals have been my greatest advertisement. That is always very exciting. It validates that the customer was happy with the work that I did for them. It also shows that they trust me to take care of the person they are referring as well.

The most rewarding aspect of my career has been the fact that I've helped to build the confidence of so many women I have worked with. It's unfortunate that a lot of women, including me, have insecurities about something relating to their appearance, or sometimes feel uncomfortable in their own skin. While I am a huge advocate of finding your inner beauty, first and foremost, I absolutely love playing up the outer beauty as well. There is a definite transformation that takes place during the makeup process, and it's not just a physical transformation. There have been numerous occasions where I have worked on someone who is really self conscious about their skin, due to uneven skin tone, blemishes, etc. Upon completion of the makeup, I'll direct them to a mirror so that they can see the finished product. This same person, who was once shy and self conscious, is now beaming with confidence and happy tears because of the way they look! It's so fulfilling to be able to help boost someone's confidence & make them feel as beautiful as everyone else perceives them to be.

Multimedia Makeup Artist for fashion editorial, runway, film, and bridal

Professionally applied makeup is one service that can complete a look and guarantee that subject camera ready. Skilled artists are trained in understanding the effects that various types of lighting have on photos. A Professional Makeup Artist is trained in selecting appropriate products and in application techniques that work best in the variety of settings that a photographer and videographer will be shooting in. Photos/videos will last a lifetime but you only have one chance to enhance your best features and camouflage uneven skin tones and blemishes.

Make sure to budget for a Professional Makeup Artist when planning your photo or video shoot! It can make all the difference...

I have been working in the cosmetic industry for over 10 years (just how long? that would be tmi ;) ). I am a licensed Esthetician in MA and a certified professional makeup artist.

I pride myself on staying current with the trends, as well as adapting to each and every client’s personal needs and desires. I am very versatile in my approach to the art of makeup. I have worked in about every arena of makeup artistry.

My experience is proficient in areas of production for high-definition, film, print, bridal, and editorial. My experience has afforded me the opportunity to work with a wide variety of products and ethnicities and skin types.

I love to work with brides! I find it a blessing to share my gift with women on their special day. I am dedicated to making the bride’s dream of the “ideal look” become a reality. I am well experienced with what it takes to get through the process in order to keep everything on track and to make the walk down the aisle the best experience for the bride and her party.

I do provide "on-location" beauty services. Brides, what that means for you is a stress-free day of makeup services coming to your door, salon, hotel, etc . I pride myself on being reliable and prompt.

Thomas Piercy is a critically acclaimed musician with orchestral, concerto, solo recital and chamber music appearances throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia. Described by The New York Times as “Brilliant...playing with refinement and flair…evoking a panache in the contemporary works…,” Mr. Piercy presents audiences to varied and exciting concerts of standard classical music, jazz-inspired programs, contemporary works, pieces written specifically for him and his own original arrangements, compositions and collaborations. Piercy performs and records on rare rosewood English-bore clarinets made for him by Luis Rossi of Santiago, Chile, and Buffet Prestige clarinets with Opperman mouthpieces and barrels. His sound has been described by critics as uniquely beautiful and consistently warm.

A versatile artist defying categorization – performing on the Emmy Award-winning Juno Baby CDs and DVDs; playing Rhapsody in Blue with pianist Earl Wild; performing concert improvisations with pianist Donal Fox; performing Mozart with mezzo-soprano Frederica von Stade; playing Broadway songs with Raoul Julia; conducting Cabaret or Rodgers & Hammerstein; working with the composer Leonard Bernstein; appearing in a KRS-ONE music video; recording with members of Maroon 5; - as an instrumentalist, singer, director and music director/conductor and actor, he has performed for Broadway and Off-Broadway, television, radio, video and commercial recordings.

Mr. Piercy has performed at many of the worlds acclaimed concerts halls including Carnegie Hall (NY, NY), Lincoln Center (NY, NY), the Kennedy Center (Washington, DC.), the Dame Myra Hess Memorial Concert Series (Chicago, Illinois), Centre Pompidou (Paris, France), Wigmore Hall (London, England), Accademia di Santa Cecilia (Rome, Italy) and Parthenon (Tokyo, Japan).

His many festival appearances have included a featured performance in memory of Leon Russianoff at the 1991 International ClarinetFest, a concert of contemporary American music at the 2005 ClarinetFest in Tokyo, Japan, and an all-Piazzolla concert at the 2007 International Clarinet Festival in Vancouver, Canada. He has performed in concerts and festivals in England, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Denmark, The United States, Canada, Mexico and Japan.

A recipient of numerous scholarships, prizes and awards, he studied clarinet, voice and conducting at the Juilliard School, Mannes College of Music, Virginia Commonwealth University and Shenandoah Conservatory. Piercy's earliest studies were in both voice and clarinet. He began his college education studying clarinet under Dr. Stephen Johnston at Shenandoah Conservatory and Gailyn Parks at Virginia Commonwealth University. He later moved to New York City to study with Gervase De Peyer under scholarship at Mannes College of Music; he continued to study extensively with De Peyer after leaving Mannes. Piercy later studied with and soon became an assistant to the renowned clarinet pedagogue Leon Russianoff; additional clarinet studies and reed-making studies were undertaken with clarinetist, reed, barrel and mouthpiece maker, and composer Kalmen Opperman. He has had arrangements and transcriptions published by Boosey & Hawkes, and as an assistant to Kalmen Opperman, he has contributed to clarinet study books and clarinet compositions published by Carl Fischer, Inc., and Baron Publishing. In demand as a clarinet, sax and voice teacher, many of Piercy's students have gone on to schools and careers in music.

Piercy is currently the Artistic Director and clarinetist of the Gotham Ensemble. A mixed vocal and instrumental ensemble based in New York City, the Gotham Ensemble premieres, performs and records a wide variety of repertoire, from the Classical to the avant-garde. A New York Times review of Gotham's Merkin Hall, New York City, performance of a program of Olav Thommessen's music specifically encouraged the public to go out and purchase the recordings. After a performance of Ned Rorem's "Ariel" at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Mr. Rorem wrote of Gotham as one of America's important chamber music groups performing new music today. Albany Records released “Gotham Ensemble Plays Ned Rorem” - aCD of Ned Rorem's chamber music featuring the clarinet.

A frequent performer of new music, Mr. Piercy has premiered numerous compositions, many of them written for him, by such composers as Milton Babbit, Allan Blank, Ed Bland, Philippe Bodin, Wendy Mae Chambers, Elisenda Fabrégas, David Featherolf, Donal Fox, Nicolas Gilbert, Silas Huff, Yohei Kurihara, Benjamin Lees, Takeshi Ogawa, Sergey Oskolkov, Joseph Perhson, André Ristic, Robert Xavier Rodriguez, Erin Rogers, Manly Romero, Ned Rorem, Marjorie Rusche, Garth Sunderland, Olav Anton Thommessen, Perry Townsend and many others.

Mr. Rorem, a Pulitzer Prize winner and Grammy Award-winning composer, wrote his only clarinet and piano piece, "Four Colors," for Mr. Piercy. The work had its premier at an 80th birthday concert celebration for Mr. Rorem at Carnegie Hall in the fall of 2003. Mr. Rorem is currently working on a clarinet, cello and piano trio for Mr. Piercy.

His discography includes "Gotham Ensemble Plays Ned Rorem", a CD of chamber music featuring the clarinet (released by Albany Records), "CAFE", a CD of music for clarinet and guitar (released by Tonada Records), the world-premier recording of Sir Richard Rodney Bennett's "Ballad in Memory of Shirley Horn" and the Emmy Award winning CD and DVD "Juno Baby."
